ALMOST GONE!
The Hanson Rig (MACV SOG Extraction System - 1960s Materials)
The Hanson Rig is an iconic piece of MACV-SOG history and equipment.
As the predecessor to the STABO Rig, this was developed by Bill Hanson of RT Hawaii in early 1969. Not only more stable and safe than a Swiss Seat or McGuire rig, this was a bit more comfortable according to reports.
These replicas are faithfully recreated using all 1960s materials including:
- 1963-1967 Dated Cargo Strap Webbing
- 1963-1967 D Rings
- 1966-1967 Dated Buckles
These are not rated for any sort of survival or extraction, but will look killer on your MACV SOG load out.
Traditions Rebuilt.
*yours MAY have blue period webbing stamping visible or prominent. This is original to the cargo strap and does not affect function. If you would like to avoid this specifically, leave a comment explicitly stating to hand-pick. Otherwise, enjoy some awesome unique markings*
