Traditions Rebuilt

At TGL Equipment, I rebuild proven designs for modern field use, delivering rugged, reliable gear inspired by tradition and refined by experience. Each piece is hand-built and designed to fill the needs of the reenactor, prepared citizen, and gunfighter.

The Beginning:

For well over a decade, I have been collecting and using tactical gear from all over the world and from decades past. As a reenactor and impression kit builder, I've developed a strong appreciation for this silly nylon and plastic that has been proven in the harshest conditions on earth. In 2025, I purchased and restored a vintage sewing machine, determined to learn how to make my own. Months of trial and error later, I decided it was time to make it happen. The gear here is designed and built with design and functionality in mind and tradition and aesthetic leading the way. I want to modernize classic equipment and build new pieces to enhance the experiences of reenactors and tactical gear enthusiasts alike. 

The Goal:

I've always been a fan of supporting small, niche businesses who want to support their fellow man. I love the retro / vintage equipment and also modern, functional hiking and fighting gear. That's the whole reason I created the page and channel. Now, as I continue making cool things and seeing them go all over the globe, I want to do more. I want to continue expanding the product line, honing my skills and learning new techniques. I want to provide better gear made with better materials than the next gear nerdy gear maker over there. I want to support those around me and appreciate those who support me. But most importantly. I want to have fun. This is not my main source of income (for now) and I never want to lose the spark or excitement about this journey.

 The Principles:

Every person on this earth is created equal and has the right to defend themselves. We must especially protect the most vulnerable of those around us. However, we also have an obligation and responsibility to protect those without voices. The land we have and the animals we share it with. We have grown far too selfish on this earth and we need to conserve, protect, and grow.
